Uses for Dryer Sheets

Besides making our clothes smell great and removing static in the dryer, These sheets are lifesavers! 



1] Get love bugs off of a vehicle by wetting a sheet and wiping the car down.
2] Put a dryer sheet into bags of clothing before storing them away to retain a fresh smell.
3] A Bounce sheet in a back pocket will repel bees.
4] Place a dryer sheet under the front seat of your car to keep your car smelling fresh.
5] A dryer sheet in a pillowcase will keep it smelling fresh.
6] Get rid of static on your electronic... tv, computer, etc.
7] Place a dryer sheet in a vacuum to keep it fresh.
8] Place a dryer sheet in a baking pan and fill with water, leave overnight to remove baked on foods.
9] Rub a dryer sheet on carpet to collect loose pet hair.
10] Dryer sheets also collect sawdust.
11] Dryer sheets repel mosquitos, mice and ants.
12] They dissolve soap scum in a shower by rubbing it with a wet dryer sheet.
13] A dryer sheet in old tennis shoes will prevent the closet from filling up with odor.
14] Place dryer sheets in an old photo album to remove static and odor.
15] Toss one in the wastebasket to eliminate odors.
16] Rub one on dull scissors for a quick fix.
17] Refresh the bathroom by putting one in the tp roll.
18] I clip one to my windows while I'm cleaning with the windows open. It adds freshness to all of my rooms...


(It works great clipped to a fan as well for the days that the windows cannot be opened!)

    1. I know! They're great... they're also a potential danger to the dryer, though :( I read that if the film of the dryer sheets cause build-up in the lint catcher, it could cause fire.

  2. You can also use a dyer sheet to get rid of static in you hair. When your hair gets a little staticy just rub a dryer sheet over your hair and ta-da. Works great for me :).
