Paper Towel Curls

1] Start with washing your hair and brushing it out.
2] Leave it soaking wet.
3] Break up your hair by tousling it with your hands.

4] Use a generous amount of MOUSSE, not gel.

5] Apply to wet hair by scrunching from tip to root.

6] Apply a root lifter at the roots of the hair like you would be applying shampoo.

NOW, HERE'S THE TRICK:
7] Place a paper towel in the palm of your hands and use it to scrunch sections of your hair. This will absorb extra moisture and not cause friction (frizz) like a towel would.

8]  Continue scrunching with your hands every few minutes as your hair dries... I wouldn't use a blow dryer, it could cause extra frizz with the heat. If you must dry your hair quickly, use the cool setting on the blow dryer and scrunch continually while drying!
As it begins to dry, you should notice curls starting to form.
9] I like to add a few defined curls to the bangs around my face to make it look like I've spent hours fixing my hair ;) The trick to the perfect curl with an iron is to curl AWAY from your face, not towards it!
Also, don't brush out the pieces that you curl... just curl the messy sections!
Voila.
