Happy Easter 2012!

We could not find the Easter Bunny for Gabriel's first Easter... So we settled for live bunnies ;)

But, we found that little bugger this year! An Gabe did not like him at all! He wouldn't sit on him alone, so Talia went with him, but he is so strong that he was jumping out of the bunny's arms! I'm sorry, little man... Mommy just wanted one picture of you with the Easter Bunny!

Well, we woke up bright and early this morning to white chocolate bunnies =] Gabriel can't eat candy... not that much candy at least. He's too chunky for all those sweets... He had Lucky Charms ;) Then he helped me fold the clothes... he's getting better... 

And against our wishes, Micah went to work on the house early this morning. I hate that he is always gone, but love that he is working so hard to get us in our new home. A hard working man is a blessing and a curse. He won't be gone all day, though. He promised to be home in time to take us to my Dad's to eat BBQ this afternoon! Until then, we swing!
We haven't been on this swing in months... he's actually probably too big for it by now. The sticker says ages 1 to 3, he's only one :/ lol he enjoyed himself though!

Now, OFF TO POP'S for some good food and family fun, and a little fishing!

And they have a DOVE nested under his little shed, how adorable!

I'm so excited about all the food and fun, that I almost forgot the real reason that we celebrate this day. I looked through all of our books and only found tales of bunnies and chicks, nothing that explains Easter's real meaning.
