My original intent for the blog was to share my journey through first-time Motherhood at such a young age. I had a point to prove: Young Mothers could be great Mothers. Blogging quickly became one of my favorite past-times. I mostly post about my son… the hero.
I wrote a letter to him when he was born promising that he will have the best life possible. In the letter, I apologize in advance for being such a silly Mommy. I signed it "Souls Never Wrinkle, love Mommy." The phrase became the foundation for my blog.
The blog's focus has shifted from my journey to his journey. What an incredible journey it has been. Turns out, no matter how much I prepared for Motherhood, my son was going to be the one to teach me everything!
We got an official diagnoses of Autism and our entire lives changed. I was no longer just a mother, I was a special needs mother. My emotions ran wild, my defenses went up, and my instincts kicked in. I'm learning as I go and documenting my way through it.

Since I started blogging in January of 2012, it grew immensely… bigger than I ever expected it to be. We have gotten opportunities and chances of all sorts due to the blog. I have gotten to meet and work with some amazing people and companies.
I've also made great friends who are going through the same things we are and have helped me to understand some things. Our journey has been crazy and is only getting started, but I feel as though blogging has helped me to cope and helped me to understand.
I hope I have inspired, educated, or enlightened you.
